The Vodka with Chai Experiment

To create Chai Experiments, Singh infused vodka with chai masala for an unmistakably Indian flavor. Chai Experiments is a popular Indian spirit infused with fresh cucumber.

Spices – The Chai Masala infused vodka is made from a blend of cinnamon, cardamom, star anise and mace, the combination of which helps boost metabolism and keeps the common cold at bay.

Honey – A constant in Ayurvedic medicine, honey helps digestion, pulmonary health and insomnia, among other things.

Singh’s preferred choice of rum, Old Monk, is dark rum that is aged for a minimum of 8 years and has won gold medals at Monde World Selections. It owes its popularity to word of-mouth & customer loyalty. Singh also prepares his own homemade syrups and shrubs. The bitters used in Chai Experiments are also homemade, which is what makes it different.

Singh not only uses an orange peel as the garnish. He recommends twisting the orange peel to extract its aromatic oils and spraying it on and inside the glasses for an extra citrus burst that lingers on guests’ fingers long after the cocktail is finished.

Chai Experiment – Ingredients:

Masala tea infused Absolut- 45ml

Amaretto- 7.5ml

Grand Marnier- 7.5ml

Angostura bitter- 2 dashes

Garnish: Orange rind twist

Chai Experiment – Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients
  2. Shake and strain
  3. Garnish with orange rind
