The Uber app allows consumers to submit a trip request, which is routed to crowd-sourced taxi drivers. Since Uber’s launch, several other companies have emulated its business model, a trend that has come to be referred to as “Uberification”. It is an app which connects the riders to the drivers. These drivers are independent contractors working on their own hours, are their own boss and drive their own car. But still there are problems with the safety measures of Uber which raises doubt every single time. Uber doesn’t use fingerprinting like taxi services also there are many ways to falsify the reviews. Their insurance policy is also very abrupt which is again an black mark on their reputation. They should solve their flaws because they are the trendsetter in these business and they should set a benchmark for their competitors.
