2015 Haj Stampede near Mecca

A mass situation caused on 24 September, 2015 where 1,100 people suffocate and crushed to death. The Haj Stampede tragedy news got widespread in several foreign countries announcing the deaths of many nationals.
​This dreadfull stampede killed more than 700 pilgrims and injured hundreds of them on 24th Sept 2015, on the outskirts of the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, the deadliest tragedy to strike the annual haj pilgrimage in more than two decades. [via]
