Students these days, have become very selective about their future aspirations and that is a very good thing. Engineering, architecture, and pharmacy are three such programs, where most of the students tend to go after completing their 12th. WBJEE also offers admission in these undergraduate programs in colleges and institute falling within the boundaries of West Bengal. You have to deal with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in WBJEE Exam.

You have to participate in WBJEE Counselling, after the declaration of results. You will have to pay additional counselling fee, during online registration of WBJEE counselling process. Only after that, you are asked to fill your choice and preference of colleges/institutes. There is something you should know about the seat allotment in the colleges/institutes participating under WBJEE:

  • 80% of seats are filled through marks scored in WBJEE
  • Another 10% Seats are filled through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains)
  • The remaining 10% seats are considered under the Management Quota, as desired by the Institutions

You have to keep in, the past year’s cut off, so that you can get an idea how much efforts you have to put in, in order to get a chance to choose the list of colleges where you want to study. Remember that the seats are allotted to all the students on the basis of merit list and availability of seats in that particular college/ university or institute.
