Taj Exotica in Goa

One of my personal favorite resorts in Goa would certainly be Taj Exotica Goa. Its grand architecture and the Mediterranean-style hotel is a perfect retreat for leisure and business travelers. The resort is value for money and the stay is just excellent. Clearly, there are many other options depending on the places you want to visit in Goa. However, while booking a resort, it is best to ask for discounts and perks along with the booking price. Talking about my bookings for Taj Exotica, I booked from Cleartrip and the discounts that were associated with the booking were just awesome. You can even check the rates of the hotels and resorts of your choice and compare the prices on different websites. For me Cleartrip.com was a clear winner.

So, once the hotels or resorts are sorted, the next most important thing is to plan the places to visit. As Goa is known for its beaches, it is best to start with the famous ones like Baga, Anjuna, Calangute etc. It is viable to rent a bike if you are a couple or a 4-wheeler if you are a group of 6-7. Also, for food, there are extremely affordable hotels where you can dine in, with some drinks too. You can even opt for some beach shacks restaurants to curb your hunger. One of my favorites is Café Lilliput at Anjuna Beach. Some finest seafood, drinks and mind blowing music. What else one want..!

Shopping at Panaji, the capital of Goa should be one thing in your list which you must try. Casinos and pubs in Goa are just to another level. Also, do not forget to hire a car to drop you back at your hotel, because drinking and driving is dangerous. Apart from shopping, you can try water sports like scuba diving, parasailing and snorkeling at the beaches. If you are interested in the production of “Feni”, a local alcoholic drink made up of cashews, there are many farms where you can see the process of feni making. Getting permission to watch the whole procedure isn’t a tough one, for the locals are generally friendly and happy to share their experiences.

Hope this helps to add a spice to your breakout to Goa. Goa is an experience guys and definitely one of the most travelled destination by many because of its serene beauty and glamorous locations. Go Goa..!
