The war between Coke and Pepsi is as old as the eighteenth century when this drink was first introduced. Though Coke hit the markets first and started gaining its stand in the business, when Pepsi was invented by a pharmacist, Caleb Bradham in the year 1898 that is when the war between Coke and Pepsi commenced. The actual war between Coke and Pepsi started from the year 1901 when Pepsi started to hit massive sales and Coke sales started to tank. Not just that, they also find investors who invest billion dollars in their company. That is around the same time when Pepsi goes bankrupt in the year 1923.

In the same year, Robert Woodruff, one of the major investors of the company in Coke is elected as the president of the Company and remains the president for sixty years since the year 1923. While Coke expands itself worldwide, to a variety of countries, Pepsi goes bankrupt for the second time. This infographics also shows the original recipe for Coke and Pepsi.
